We have been providing our autism consultancy service since 2010 to individuals, families and professionals.

Our service is delivered by our team of consultants who collectively have over 100 years of experience working in the field of autism and neurodiversity with both children and adults. We do our best to offer guidance through complex education, health and social care processes. We also offer consultancy to employers and organisations on topics related to autism and neurodiversity.

Our consultancy meetings are now either online or by telephone. Face-to-face meetings are delivered only in exceptional circumstances if agreed with the consultant.

    Our consultancy team

    Manar Matusiak – Managing Director

    has over 20 years’ experience at director level in the specialist care and education sector, in particular in the field of autism and neurodiversity.  She helped to set up and develop the first transitional residential service in the country for young adults with autism and complex needs for a national organisation.  Manar is now Managing Director of Living Autism, supporting people through processes to find the most appropriate support for their needs. She provides training on different aspects of autism and neurodiversity for care providers, employers, families and professionals across the country. She also offers coaching to autistic or otherwise neurodivergent individuals and consultancy to managers. Manar also offers consultancy to organisations wishing to develop services for autistic and neurodivergent children and adults.

    Geoff Evans

    began his professional career in the autism field 40 years ago at The National Autistic Society. During this time he gained considerable experience in working with people across the whole spectrum as well as supporting families. His extensive experience has been utilised by universities, the National Autistic Society, local authorities, schools and others to enhance the design, content and delivery of a range of training and staff development programmes. In recent years Geoff has consolidated his position as an expert in the field of autism and has built a nationally and internationally recognised reputation as a renowned speaker and specialist trainer. Geoff offers consultancy to schools and children’s services on the environment, systems and strategies to support autistic and neurodiverse children. Since 2023 Geoff has provided training to a number of large organisations on meeting the needs of a neurodiverse workforce; these have included the prison service, nuclear power industry and a large building society.

    Wayne Satnarine

    Wayne Satnarine

    has over 20 years’ experience at senior management and director level, leading large operations and commercial teams in the specialist education and care sector. For 20 years he has been delivering solutions to both parents and authorities in the field of autism and neurodiversity and he has a keen interest in youth mentoring and development.  Since 2011 Wayne has been supporting individuals and families to navigate complex local authority education systems. He has an excellent understanding of both the education tribunal and care judiciary procedures and offers consultancy to support parents and guardians with the focus needed for EHC (Education Health and Care) and social care plans.

    Simon Errington

    joined the Living Autism team in 2023. During his careers as a manager in the hospitality industry and learning and development lead in the Fire and Rescue Service, as well as his work in the voluntary youth sector, he has been passionate about supporting neurodivergent children and adults. Simon brings with him vast experience in HR and Learning and Development and can support smaller employers with the tools to support their teams. He can support with recruitment, performance management, EDI (Equality Diversity and Inclusion), coaching, mentoring, training and professional development. Simon says, “I truly believe that to deliver great service to others, people need to be confident, competent, and engaged in their work. By working with you on the ‘people elements’ of your business, we can work together to deliver your objectives.”

    Meeting length

    Each meeting can last up to 45 minutes.

    You can book meetings online, on the telephone or face-to-face (face-to-face sessions are only offered in exceptional circumstances if agreed with the consultant).

    Most of the consultants work from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm UK time and some offer meetings in the evenings or weekends. If you have a preferred time you need to agree it directly with the consultant once we have made the introduction.

    How to book

    To book a consultancy meeting with any one of our consultants please email training@livingautism.co.uk with ‘Consultancy’ in the subject heading indicating which consultant you would like to meet with and some information on what you would like to discuss.

    How much does it cost?

    The first half-hour meeting is free of charge. If you and the consultant agree further meetings the costs for a meeting of up to 45 minutes are –

    Online or telephone 

    £72 including VAT

    Face-to-face (if mutually agreed with the consultant)

    £72 including VAT  (venue hire is extra)
