Living Autism has a simple philosophy, we want to help match outstanding autism services with the people who need them. That’s it, that’s what we do.
If you provide any services for individuals with autism, from therapy to employment services and everything in between, you can be listed on the Living Autism website.
With the introduction of direct payments and the personalisation agenda it is becoming more important to provide a wide range of services to meet the needs of the individuals concerned. Local Authorities, parents and individuals with autism are all in need of a wider variety of services, and to find them quickly and easily.
Make it easier for clients to find you
Living Autism provides a portal for Local Authorities, families, individuals with autism and autism professionals to search for autism services on a local and national level.
Join the network and let us do the work for you
If you are committed to providing specialised services to individuals with autism, you can join the Living Autism network.
Find Clients Now
Living Autism can help you to find suitable service users faster. We provide searchable nationwide and regional databases, we channel leads from Local Authorities, family members and individuals with autism to those providers that are the best fit to that individual’s needs.
Differentiate your business
Our members put autism first. If you believe in a specialised approach to supporting individuals with autism, take advantage of our validation.
Present your credentials
In order to become a Living Autism network member, service providers must demonstrate their competence in their selected field.
Documentation required:
Copies of relevant qualification certificates
Proof of membership of professional bodies for example BAOT (British
Association of Occupational Therapists)
At least two references from individuals with autism or a family member
Additionally you may want to provide case studies demonstrating your approach to serving individuals with autism, these should not contain any details that might
reveal the identity of the individual, unless they have provided their express written consent.
We are sure that you will agree with these sensible precautions before listing a service as suitable for individuals with autism.
We believe that providing services to individuals with autism presents a uniquely challenging and rewarding experience. If you are thinking of providing a service to individuals with autism for the first time, we highly recommend undertaking some autism specific training for businesses. You can email us for a list of providers of autism training.
Please note that Living Autism membership is only available to experienced Autism Professionals, but you can list your business using the ‘register function’.
